Composite Bambu Lab Industrial Grade
PA-GF

PA-GF – Glass-Fiber-Reinforced Polyamide up to 120 °C

PA-GF: rigid structural parts with ~80 MPa tensile strength and up to 120 °C HDT. Electrically non-conductive – an economical alternative to PA-CF.

Technical Specifications

Base Polymer
Polyamide with short glass fibers (GF)
Tensile Strength
~70–90 MPa (ISO 527)
Heat Deflection
~90–120 °C (HDT/A)
UV Resistance
Not UV-stabilized

Typical Applications

  • Rigid structural parts with temperature requirements
  • Fixtures and jigs for production
  • Gear and motor components up to 120 °C
  • Electrically insulating brackets and supports
  • Economical alternative to PA-CF for weight-neutral parts

Material Profile

PA-GF is the glass-fiber-reinforced counterpart to PA-CF: similar stiffness gains over pure PA, but electrically non-conductive and lower in material cost. The glass fibers are white and produce a light, slightly shimmering surface.

PA-GF vs. PA-CF

PA-GF is the choice when electrical insulation matters or when weight-neutrality is acceptable and cost optimization is the priority.
