Typical Applications

  • High-load parts requiring creep and temperature resistance
  • Structural parts in automotive and mechanical engineering
  • Electrically insulating alternative to PPA-CF
  • High-temperature molds and pressure fixtures

Documents will be provided once a specific material is selected.

Material Profile

PPA (polyphthalamide) is a semi-aromatic polyamide – the aromatic ring structures in the polymer chain give it exceptional heat resistance and creep resistance, far exceeding aliphatic polyamides (PA6, PA12). Glass-fiber reinforcement further increases stiffness and strength.

PPA-GF is the choice when electrical insulation matters or when a more economical alternative to PPA-CF is needed at comparable thermal performance.

Material Sourcing

PPA-GF is a specialty material with limited stock availability. When you place an order, we clarify material batch, lead time and technical datasheets on a project-specific basis.
