Material Profile
Silk PLA contains a silk-gloss additive that makes the surface appear high-gloss right after printing. Particularly attractive for show models where visual impact matters more than mechanical performance.
The additive improves appearance but slightly worsens mechanical properties compared to standard PLA. Silk PLA is exclusively a design material.
